LEONA NICHOLSON 1935 - 2006 Mom passed away gracefully on March 28, 2006 at the Grace Hospice at age 70. Predeceased by her beloved husband Bruce of 49 years. Mother to Allan (Mary), Larry, Candace Nicholson, (Ernie Kirouac), Jackie (Scott) Wasylyk, Andrea Nicholson, Angie (Jeff) Cieszecki; her grandchildren, Luke, George, Charlotte Nicholson, Jocelyn Bieber, Danny Wasylyk and Carson Cieszecki; great-grandchildren, Dylan and Dallas Nicholson and many relatives and friends. Leona's love of children went beyond her own six and extended to her work at the Munroe Daycare, Sunday School Teacher. Her home was always full of laughter. Her artistic presence could be seen through her paintings, gardens, cooking and love of entertaining. Leona shared her retirement years in Matlock with her husband Bruce. She will be greatly missed and remembered for her warm greeting Welcome Welcome . Many thanks to the incredible staff and volunteers at the Grace Hospice. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 31 at 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Lutheran Church, 211 Kimberly Ave. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Salvation Army Memorial Garden or the Grace Hospice.
