ANN CHRISTIE Peacefully on Monday, March 27, 2006, our mother passed away at the age of 89. Ann is survived by her children, Bill, George (Darlene) and Elaine. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Raquel Wylynko (David), Daryla Stewart (Scott) and Linda Jane, her great-grandchildren, Taras, Afton, Adam and Nathan were a special delight to her. She also leaves to mourn her passing her beloved Kushliak family, many nieces, nephews and friends of her children, all of whom she loved dearly. Ann and her husband owned several restaurants over the years and when Bill died, Ann went to work in the cafeteria of the Victoria Hospital until her retirement. Ann was predeceased by her husband Bill; her sister Stella; her brothers, John, Joe and Walter, her nephews, Walter and Jim and her son-in-law David. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the Victoria Hospital for their wonderful care. Many thanks to her home at Villa Cabrini, where she loved to invite guests to join her for dinner in the Villa's dining room. Special thanks to her young friends who made regular visits and shared meals with her. Thank-you Jan, Bev, Cheryl and her kids and many others too numerous to mention. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 30 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Flowers gratefully declined, if friends so desire, donations may be made in Ann's memory to a charity of one's choice. We'll miss you Auntie Ann. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
