MARIE-THERESE (MINNIE) BALLEGEER (nee WOLFE) Peacefully on March 27, 2006, beloved great-grandmother, grandmother and mother, Minnie Ballegeer passed away in Calgary, AB. She was born in Ste. Anne, MB on April 6, 1918. She married August Gus Ballegeer from Swan Lake, MB. She and Gus operated a farm for over 30 years in Transcona. Minnie is survived by her son Maurice and his wife Katherine of Colinton, AB, six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her three brothers, Peter in Winfield, BC, Bernie in East St. Paul, MB and Maurice in Winnipeg, MB and by many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 31 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph the Worker Parish, 505 Brewster St. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
