MAYME PEARSON (nee WATSON) Mayme, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away suddenly at the age of 92 years. Mayme was born February 28, 1914 in Straban Co. Tyrone, North Ireland to parents William and Annie Watson. She immigrated to Canada in 1915. Growing up on a farm at Pilot Mound she attended Copperfield school. Mayme married her first husband Alex Mclean in 1933 and had two children Luella and David. In 1951, she married Lawrence Pearson and had one son Larry. She joined Cavel Orange Lodge in 1933 and joined Unity in 1969 was past worthy mistress Boyne #133, senior preceptress crystal chapter. She joined Knox United Church in 1942, and was a founding member on Manitoba Genealogical Society. Mayme will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Lawrence; daughter Luella; sons, Larry and David; and sister Lorraine; also eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, sisters Thelma and Ileen, and brother Jack. Funeral services will held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 1 at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway with interment to follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens A very special thank you to Iris and Neil Keller for always being there for Gran. MUM Tonight, oh Loving Father, We return her to Thy care, Our sweet and gentle mother. Someone always walked beside her, Fearful lest she fall, But tonight she went alone, In answer to Your call. And so we ask you Father, To send a ray of light, To guide her weary footsteps, When she comes home tonight.
