Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTRACY FARMER Peacefully, with her family by her side, Tracy Alison Farmer, aged 46, surrendered her battle with cancer on March 23, 2006. Tracy was born in Dryden, ON on October 4, 1959 and educated at Barclay Public and Dryden High Schools. She married Wes Farmer on May 26, 1979 and celebrated 26 years of marriage. Tracy is surivived by her loving husband Wes; two daughters, Jody and Jaimee of Dryden; mother Marg Oberg of Dryden; sister Robbin McGillivray (Gene) of Thunder Bay, and special sister Lisa Oberg of Dryden; father-in-law and mother-in-law Bob and Em Farmer of Dryden; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Terry and Martha Farmer of Ann Arbour, Michigan; and three nephews, Kyle and Dylan McGillivray and Clayton Farmer. Tracy was predeceased by one sister, Diana Oberg in 1979 and her father and mentor George Oberg in 1989. There was no visitation as cremation has taken place and a private family internment was held at the Oxdrift Cemetery with Rev. Mary Mennell officiating. A memorial tea was held at the Ukrainian Hall on Tuesday, March 28. In lieu of flowers and if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Northwest Regional Cancer Centre or the Dryden Regional Health Centre-Oncology Unit, through the Dryden Community Funeral Home, 249 Grand Trunk Ave., Dryden, ON P8N 2X3.
