Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELLA MAE MAGWOOD (EMMS) Suddenly on March 26, 2006 at St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 80 years. Mom was born in Stonewall where she resided for several years before moving to Balmoral where she lived for 25 years. She returned to Stonewall for the last nine and one half years. She was predeceased by her husband Garnet (1980); mother Gladys Emms; son David; daughter-in-law Rose; grandchildren, Clifford, David, Sharon, Ronnie; niece Linda. Surviving to mourn her loss, her best and most faithful companion Peanut; sons, George, Alfred, Bob (Ethel), Wes; daughters, Evelyn (Elmer), Dianne (Lester), Kathy (Ken), Brenda, Sandy (John), Lori (Ron), Beth (Fred), Chris (Frank), Nella (Brian), Margie (Leonard); sister Lil (Grant) Suche; as well as 51 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren; one niece, three nephews. Mom was a wonderful person whose greatest passion was her family, especially the new babies. She was always concerned about the welfare of others. Anyone who visited could see her absolute love of gardening and house plants. There was always a cup of tea or coffee at the ready and a good old chat that took you down memory lane. Mom loved to joke and tease. One of her greatest joys was attending the sporting events of her grandchildren. Friends may call from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30 at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 31 at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
