Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAULINE GRAEB MCKAY Fell asleep peacefully Thursday, March 23, 2006 at Fred Douglas Lodge. Pauline was born in Winnipeg, November 11, 1912 to David and Mary Graeb. She attended the Young Street SDA Church where she was baptized at the age of 16 years. For many years, Pauline was engaged in many church activities - volunteering her time to play the piano for children's Sabbath School and for church. She witnessed faithfully for Christ until her health deteriorated. When she could no longer witness, she dedicated her time to prayer - her Prayer List was filled with the many names of family and friends that she had burdens for. Pauline graduated from St. Johns High School when she was 16. She later married Norman McNiel McKay September 30, 1933. Pauline is survived by her son, Dr. Lorne McKay, and his wife, Joyce, of Portland, OR; her daughter, Linda McKay Zaversnuke, and her husband, Richard, of Portland, OR; grandchildren, Pamela McKay (Las Vegas), Dr. Lorne McKay, Jr., (Phoenix), Bonnie McKay (Bishop, CA) and Richard Seann Zaversnuke, Portland; and four great-grandchildren, Samuel, Katie and William McKay (Phoenix), and Madison Zaversnuke (Portland). Pauline was predeceased by her granddaughter, Melissa in l974; her husband, Norman, in l988; and her siblings, David Graeb, Emily Liske, Mary Granke, Sarah Graeb, Freda Fenske, Rose Johnston and Esther Graeb. Funeral services will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., on Saturday, April 1 at 3:00 p.m. CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 885-9715
