KENNETH PAUL HIEBERT 1946 - 2006 It is with heavy hearts the family announces the sudden passing of Ken on Wednesday, March 29, 2006. Ken celebrated his 60th birthday on March 25. He will be sadly missed by his wife Val; daughter Paula, her son Jordyn; son Brent (Sheri), children, Kassidy, Madison, Kaden; mother Helen; sister Lynda (Frank) Warkentin; brother Ron (Lillian) Hiebert; sister Myrna (Richard) Wiens; and numerous family and friends. Ken was predeceased by his father Ernie in January 2000, and his canine companions, Buster and Bailey. Ken loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, entertaining family and friends, and having backyard barbeques. Ken's favourite pastimes included hockey, golf, curling and baseball where he was better known as Stretch and D'Hieb . A celebration of Ken's life will take place on Monday, April 3 at 10:00 a.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3.
