MYRA WOODEN 1916 - 2006 Myra Wooden of Calgary, AB passed away on Monday, March 27, 2006 at the age of 89 years. Myra was born in Winnipeg, lived there most of her life. She moved to Calgary in 2000 and has resided there since. Active in the Rebeka Lodge, Myra also enjoyed the family cottage at Grand Beach. She was a lover of all animals particularly cats, dogs and birds. Myra is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Brenda and Dean Metrow; two grandchildren, David and Laura; her cat Baby all of Calgary; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Myra was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Alvern; and her sisters, Marj and Eileen. Funeral services will be held at Thomson Funeral Home, (669 Broadway, Telephone: 783-7211) on Monday, April 3 at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Wendy Rankin, Presider. Graveside service to follow at Thomson In the Park Cemetery.
