JUDITH ALICE DRUMMOND (FLEURY) (nee ROSS) It is with deep sorrow we announce that on March 25, 2006, surrounded by her family, Judy Drummond passed away suddenly. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 26 years, Robert (Bob) Drummond; daughters, Karyn (Leonard) Dolezsar, Kim (Herb) Keele, Sheri (Byron) McMurachy; and brother Bruce (Gerry) Ross: As well as Bob's children, Cathy (Thien), Marlene (Rick), Diane (Brent), Rob (Maureen) and between Judy and Bob, their 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Judy was predeceased by her parents, Dr. Edward and Alice Ross, her daughter Judi Daley, her grandson Kraig Devine. Judy was born March 20, 1934 and spent her first 14 years in Ninette, MB before moving to Winnipeg. Judy married and moved to Edmonton in 1952, where her four daughters were born. In 1959 Judy returned to Fort Garry and spent her career years as a receptionist in the Hotel Industry where she found great enjoyment working with the public. The family would like to thank the staff from SNU Unit at The Golden Links Lodge for their caring support during the last seven months. In accordance with Judy's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. In honour of Judy's memory, family and friends are invited to a gathering on Saturday, April 1 between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at Armadale Hollows, 1750 Pembina Hwy., Tenant Lounge, East Tower. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, 10 - 120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2 or a charity of choice.
