KATHERINE (KAY) MELESKO It is with great sorrow, the family announces the passing of our beloved sister at the Grace General Hospital, on March 26, 2006. Katherine was born November 27, 1924 at Poplarfield, MB. She lived and worked in Winnipeg most of her life. Left to mourn are her sisters, Ollie Sosnowich and Jean Pelrine; her brother Mike Meleshko, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Fred Meleshko; sisters, Annie Fudali, Mary Kolotylo and Nancy Liebhart; and brothers, Nick, Peter and Harry Meleshko. Prayers will be held at St. Basil's Church at 202 Harcourt St., Winnipeg, MB on April 5 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service also at St. Basil's Church on April 6 at 9:30 a.m. with Rev. Father Ernest Hafichuk officiating. Interment to follow at Hamerlik Cemetery in Hamerlik, MB. Pallbearers will be Norm Fudali, Tony Fudali, Darrin Fudali, Ron Kolotylo, Ernie Melesko, Taras Meleshko. Weep not for me, but courage take. Love for each other, for my sake. For those you love, don't go away. They walk beside you, everyday. I thank you all for love you have shown But now it's time, I travel on alone. The family wishes to express gratitude to Katherine's many physicians and to the staff at the Grace General Hospital for the care provided.
