Mom was at home and surrounded by loved ones when she died. She was born to Stanislas and Ann in Atikokan, ON. She married the love of her life (George 1920-1993) in 1946 in Port Arthur, ON. The family moved to Winnipeg in 1949. She is survived by and was a beloved mother and friend to Theresa, Gina (Chris), Shirley, Gordon (Carol), Ruth (Ed); loving grandmother to Tami (Gerry), Jeremiah, Patricia Lynn and Charlene; beloved great-grandmother to Joshua, Michael, Kaila, Travis and Annika. She is also survived by her best friend and sister Margaret Hall; sisters-in-law Mary and Helen and her life time friends Elsie Babiak and Yolande Phillips. Mother is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mother was predeceased by her parents, husband George, in-laws David and Teresa, brother Frank, sisters Ellen (Ivor), Sadie, brothers-in-law George, Jack, Mickey and Sonny; son-in-law Arno. One of the greatest sadnesses of mother's life was the untimely death of her granddaughter Kathy-Jo. Mom was a very social person and made friends wherever she went. We know that all her friends and her bingo buddies will miss her as much as we do. Our family is forever grateful to Dr. Smart and Dr. Choi for her care.
