FLORENCE ANN LEUNG (ANNIE) It is with sorrow and sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of their beloved Annie (nee Yeasting) Leung on Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at her residence. Annie leaves to cherish her memories her children, Benjamin (Beverley) Leung of Regina, SK, Lorne Leung (Laurie Webb) of Fernie, BC, May (Les) Stewart of Mendota, IL, Dan Leung, Brenda Leung (grandsons, Jay Leung and Paul and his wife Masako Leung), Joyce Leung of Winnipeg; siblings, Alice (Peter) Chong, Edward (Winnie) Yeasting, Lincoln (Kathy) Yeasting, Jane (Lennie) Jang, Matthew (May) Yeasting all of Burnaby, BC, Victoria (Robert) Foote of Calgary, AB; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her husband Frank in September 1976 and her parents, Stephen and Kim Yeasting. Annie and Frank previously owned and operated The Leung's Chinese Food and Steak House Restaurant in Roblin, MB. After retiring Annie came to live with her family in Winnipeg. She spent her time going to Bingo, knitting, writing pen pals, and helping raise her grandsons. In 1997, due to a mild stroke, she became a victim to dementia which limited her mobility. The family sincerely wants to thank the staff at Health Action Centre and home care worker Mimi Pontanares for their many years of help and support.
