ALEXANDER (SANDY) CAMPBELL Peacefully, on Wednesday, March 22, 2006, Sandy, at the age of 93, passed away, at the Concordia Hospital, with his loved ones by his side. He was predeceased by his wife Jean, daughter Valerie, brother Lawrence and grandson Randy. He leaves to mourn his son William (Laura), sister Dolly, loving partner Jessie, niece Kathy and Brian who were with him continually during his illness, 10 grandchildren, 23 great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Sandy was a hard worker. He worked as a gold miner for 40 years in Northern Manitoba and Ontario, lastly at Madsen retiring in 1974 and moving to Winnipeg. He loved to travel, be with friends and watching wrestling on TV. A memorial service will be held on May 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Park Manor Personal Care Home, 301 Redona. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Concordia Hospital, Misericordia and Park Manor for their wonderful care. Special thanks to Charles Toop and Chaplin John Diamond for always being ready to lend a helping hand. Thanks Dr. Mohamid for looking after Sandy for so many years and Yvette for taking our calls. If friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of their choice or Park Manor. Sandy, you will be missed by all your friends and loved ones. God be with you until we meet again .
