VALERIE GAYLE MATTHEWS August 18, 1952 - March 29, 2006 Suddenly, on March 29, 2006, Val was taken from us. She will be greatly missed by husband Wayne, mother Doris, children Corey and Heather, brother James, sister Beverly, brother in-law Dave and all those whose lives she touched. Val appreciated all the beautiful things around her and never missed an opportunity to delight in them. She was passionate about thunderstorms and rainbows, loved to cook, read, watch campfires, sing and learn. More so Val loved people. From her husband of 34 years Wayne, her children, parents and family, to every other person she met. Never judgmental of anyone, Val gave her whole heart and soul to those around her, thinking of them always and making their lives special in any way she could. A service will be held on Monday, April 3 at 2:00 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. (near Pembina Hwy). Please bring your favorite memory of Val.
