KENNETH JOHN FUNK On Thursday, March 30, 2006, Ken Funk, aged 58 years, passed away. Ken is survived by his wife Shirley; children Christopher (Tyler) and Elizabeth Funk; grandchildren Zack and Jade; and mother Mary Funk. Ken is also survived by his sisters, Joan (Ed), Bonnie (Gary), Sherry (Ken) and Vicky; brothers Alvin, Don (Michelle) and Les. He was predeceased by his father Cornelius on February 12, 1986. Ken was born in Winkler, Manitoba May 31, 1947. He retired from the City of Winnipeg after 30 years and continued to work for his own consulting firm. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and was an active member his church and the Dutch Club. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 5, at 2:00 p.m. at the Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 653 Knowles Avenue. Viewing will be held one half hour prior to service. Interment will be held in Green Acres Cemetery. Donations may be made in Kenneth's memory to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Avenue Winnipeg, MB.
