Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPAULINE WOLCHUK Pauline Wolchuk, aged 83, passed away Thursday March 30, 2006 at Pine Falls Hospital with her daughter Barbara at her bedside after a long and suffering illness and is now at peace. Pauline was born at Sirko, MB and then later in her growing up years moved to Sundown, MB. After her school years in the farming community she relocated to Winnipeg and began working there. Soon after she met her future husband Ben. They eventually married and relocated to Pine Falls, MB in 1945 and there raised three children. After her children grew she began working at Pine Falls Hospital and remained working there for many years. After her husband Ben passed away she enjoyed many happy years living in St. Georges, MB with her dear friend and companion Stan. Pauline was gifted at cooking, crocheting and gardening with a love for all God's beauty. A woman of great strength wisdom and humility, Pauline was a supportive Mother and a loving sister and friend who we could all depend on. She will be remembered for her beautiful way of making people feel welcome and for her ability to forgive others and accept everyone as they are. Her love was never ending for her family and all who entered her life. She is survived by daughter Barbara (Art) 100 Mile House, B.C., sons, George (Pat) Wawanesa, MB (Noble Lake) and Jerry (Janice) Amherst, NS and grandchildren, Monica (Ken), Angela (Darcy) and Justin (Liz), Margie, Benjamin, Shilah and Mallory and great grandchildren Kayleigh, Halle, Tyler and Samantha and sisters Anne Roslyn (Wpg), Olga Tkachyk (Sirko, MB) and brother Alex Sokoliuk (Wpg) and also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Ben, and brothers Bill, Steve, John, Mike and parents Onufrey and Maria Sokoliuk. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, April 4 at 1:00 p.m. at the Notre Dame du Laus Roman Catholic Church, Powerview with Father James Gray officiating. Interment will follow at Pine Falls Mill Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Bill Sokoliuk, Walter Sokoliuk, Justin Guimond, Benjamin Wolchuk, Rene Malo and Brian Sokoliuk. Pauline's family sincerely thanks the caring angels at Pine Falls Hospital for their compassionate and loving care during her most difficult journey. In loving memory of our Dear Mother.
