ROLAND (ROLLY) JEANSON 1927 - 2006 Peacefully, Rolly, 78 years, passed away on April 1, 2006, at the Victoria General Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Anna (née Lemieux). He was predeceased by his parents, Antonin and Anastasie (née Savoie), his brothers, Clovis, Gérald and his sister Alice Olson. Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn his brothers, Philippe (Rita), Germain (Rose) and Arthur; his sisters, Hortense Wilcott, Rita (Ray) Johnson and Marcelle Dupont; sisters-in-law Louise Jeanson and Marie Jeanson; brother-in-law Ken Olson; many nephews and nieces, cousins and their families, and numerous friends. Rolly was born July 19, 1927, in Lorette, MB. He was employed for 32 years at the C.N.R. until retiring in 1982. After retirement, he enjoyed several winters in Arizona. Funeral mass will be held at St. Eugene Roman Catholic Church, 1007 St. Mary's Rd., St. Vital, on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Father Marcel Carrière presiding. Cremation has taken place (according to Rolly's wishes). Many thanks to everyone who cared for, visited and helped the family during these difficult times, especially Diane McGregor (Roy) and Arthur Jeanson.
