JOSEPH KONISKI Peacefully on April 1, 2006, Joseph passed away with his family by his side, at Selkirk General Hospital at the age of 74. Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Pearl; daughter Joanne (Ken); sons Randy (Barbara) and Ron (Kathy); grandchildren Boone, Waylon (Shannon), Myranda (Luke), Andrew and Stephan; and the sparkle in Gee-Gee's eye great-grandson Shawn; stepson Gladwyn (Evelyn); stepdaughter Linda (Ken); step grandchildren Grayson, Shawna (Kyle) Luke (Stephanie); step great-grandchildren Skylar, Tianna and Jayda. Also surviving are his brother Michael (Tillie); sisters Anne and Kay and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Samuel; mother Palagia; brother Steve and John; brother and sister in infancy Mike and Stella; brothers-in-law John and Morris; niece Sharon and nephew Richard. Joseph grew up and went to school in Narol, MB. He later lived in St. Vital for 20 years, where he began his 35 year career with Motorways. In 1975 he moved back to his family homestead. After retirement he enjoyed his daily get togethers with his coffee buddies and enjoyed his weekly trips to Half Moon with his family. Lastly, thank you to the medical staff at Selkirk District General Hospital for their care and compassion. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, Gonor, MB. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
