Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARVEY KIRTON May 29, 1945 - April 1, 2006 On April 1, 2006 with his wife Pat at his side, Harvey lost his battle with cancer. Harvey was a great man, with many talents. He was well liked by all that knew him, and he touched the hearts of so many people. He was a jack-of-all trades, a welder mechanic by trade. He worked for numerous companies over the years, including Kuzyk Construction, Querrel Construction, Cambrian Equipment and Wynne's Drilling. He loved his children and grandchildren and tried hard to visit them whenever he could. He loved sports and playing Bingo. He was always buying lottery tickets but unfortunately never won. He is predeceased by his mother Ruth; father Douglas; and siblings, Charles, Gordie, Patricia and Cyrlene. He is survived by his spouse and companion Pat; his children, Wayne (Stacey), Angela (Greg), Valdine (Mike), Rob (Tammy) and Michael; his stepchildren, Terry (Agnes), Dean (Dana), Shirley (Klaus), Normand (Renee) and Sherry (Gord); his siblings, Jackie (Ernest), Gwen (Art), Harley (Val), Edward, Churchill (Connie), Annie (Jack), Dorothy, David and Kenny; as well as 21 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. The family would like to express our thanks to Dr. Aposhaman and the nursing staff for their care and compassion at the Pine Falls Hospital. Wake service will be held on Wednesday, April 5 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 6 at 11:00 a.m. Both services will be held at Sobering Funeral Chapel in Beausejour, MB. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
