Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES GLADMAN VINCENT On Monday, March 20, 2006 James Jim Gladman Vincent of Nelson passed away at the Kootenay Lake Hospital at the age of 77 years. Jim was a member of the RCMP, retiring from the force in 1979 in Nelson. He continued his career as an investigator for Unemployment Insurance and as a Regional Coroner, retiring completely in the early 1990's. Jim loved travelling, birding, caring for his animals and spending time with family and friends. Jim was a member of the Nelson Rotary Club, Balfour Golf Club, Nelson Curling Club and the Nelson Naturalist Club. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Pat; daughter Barb of Hope, BC, a sister Evelyn Hunter of Winnipeg, MB; sister-in-law Jacqui Hayward of Kirkland, WA; nephews and nieces, Bob, Brenda, Jim, Michael, Catherine, Trish, Sue and their families, and his beloved pets, Lexi and Declan. As per Jim's wishes he will be cremated and there will be no service. As an expression of sympathy, family and friends may make donations to the Parkinson Society of BC, 600-890 West Pender St., Vancouver, BC, V6C 1J9 or the Nelson BC SPCA Branch, P.O. Box 66, Nelson, BC, V1L 5P7.
