JOHN PENNER John Penner passed away peacefully at the Kelowna General Hospital on Saturday, April 1, 2006. Born at Lena, MB on January 14, 1927. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Alida Penner (nee St. Laurent). He was predeceased by his parents, Jacob and Elizabeth Penner. He leaves to mourn six brothers, Jacob Jr., Abe (Elizabeth), David (Kae), Edward (Mary), Erwin (Emma), Alfred (Esther) and one sister Susan Walker; two brothers-in-law, Larry (Madeleine) and Fern St. Laurent; sister-in-law Irene St. Laurent and numerous nephews and nieces. John's wishes were for cremation and a private family graveside service will be held at Lakeview Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family wishes to thank the doctors and nursing staff at the Kelowna General Hospital for their dedicated care.
