ALEX (OLEKSA) WARWARUK

Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALEX (OLEKSA) WARWARUK March 10, 1926 - April 3, 2006 After a lengthy illness, Alex passed away at Concordia Hospital on April 3, 2006. Born in Solotwyna, Ukraine, he is survived there by a sister Anna, nephew Taras, niece Oksana and in Italy by his niece Marta. He was predeceased by his mother, father and brother John, late of Toronto. Alex will be sadly missed and dearly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Lily. Also in Canada, he will be missed by nieces and nephews, Stephen, Elaine and Michael Tepley; Wayne Tepley of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Wendy Tepley of Raleigh, North Carolina. After leaving home at an early age, Alex worked at British Railways for nine years at Brown and Rutherford in Winnipeg for more that 25 years. Together with Lily, Alex enjoyed few things more than their annual trips to Varadero, Cuba, beginning in 1976, and the many Cubano friends made there over the years, some sadly passed. Special thanks to Dr. T. R. Babick, Dr. L. A. Homik, and Dr. N. MacEachern. Also sincere thanks to nurses Brenda and Sylvia; Gertrude and Grace (3rd Floor). Funeral service will be held 12:00 noon on Friday, April 7 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Cremation will follow. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
