Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERALDINE LORRAINE ROBINSON It is with immense sorrow we announce the passing of Gerry, wife, mother, grandmother and friend on Tuesday, April 4, 2006 at the Grace Hospital. Besides her husband Burton Allen (B.A.), Gerry is survived by her daughter Judy; sons, Bruce, Ross (Allana) and Neil (Cathy); grandchildren, Brett, Leigh, Shea, Matthew, Kaley, Sarah, Keith and Owen; and her sister Jocelyn Wood of Lewisporte, NF. She was affectionately known as Nan by her grandchildren. Gerry was predeceased by her parents, Hector and Clara Miller; sister Patricia; daughter-in-law Lynne; and grandson Todd. She was born on June 23, 1917 in Winnipeg, Gerry was a lifelong resident of Winnipeg, attending Kelvin High School. Gerry and Burton were married on October 7, 1939. Gerry was a charter member of the Winnipeg, Kinettes and later became President and Honorary member. She served as a member of the Rotary International Wheel, being President, District Chair and on the International Board. Gerry was a volunteer for many years at the Kinsmen School for Retarded Children. She was a loving mother who enjoyed her extended summers at Granite Lake with her family and friends. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Tuxedo Villa, who have given Gerry wonderful care over these past years. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 8 at 11:00 a.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. with Rev. Dr. Terry Hidichuk and Rev. Janet Walker officiating.
