Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGINA CURTIS (nee BOX) Georgina Curtis passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, April 4, 2006. Georgina was born in Grenfell, SK on February 21, 1916, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.A. Box. She married Winston Charles Curtis on December 5, 1941 in Alexander, MB. Georgina will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lila (Vic) Moore and Bob (Denise) Curtis; daughter-in-law, Elaine (Don) Bettof; grandchildren, Greg (Kim), Perry (Angela), Deanna (Dave), Bart (Oralee), Kelly; step-grandchildren, Mike and Andrew Waite; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Muriel Gingell, Lucy Ritza, Keith Box, Freida Hawken and Merle Laut; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends. Georgina was predeceased by her beloved husband, Winston Charles Curtis; dear son, Garry Earl Curtis; parents, Richard Alfred and Mary Box; five sisters and three brothers. The funeral ceremony will be held at Memories Chapel, 330-18th Street North on Saturday, April 8 at 1:00 p.m. The Rev. Laird Russell-Yearwood of Central United Church will officiate. Interment will follow in the Alexander Cemetery at a later date. Friends who wish may make a donation in memory of Georgina to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation for Intensive Care Unit, 150 McTavish Ave. East, Brandon, MB R7A 2B3.
