EMILY SHANWALDT (SEIBEL) 1917 - 2006 Peacefully, with her daughters at her side, Emily passed away on April 3, 2006. She will be sadly missed by daughter Madeleine Ritzmann (Fred) of Toronto and granddaughters, Tracy and Allison and daughter Audrey Elrick (John) of Winnipeg and grandsons, David and Trevor. She will be lovingly remembered by nieces, Lynda, Eileen, Lorraine, Elsie, Diane and nephews, Jack and Don. Emily was predeceased by her beloved husband William (Bill) in 1989 and her sister and best friend Anne Vorauer in 2005. In accordance with Emily's wishes, there was a private cremation and there will be no public ceremony. The family wishes to thank all of the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their exceptional caring and assistance to Emily during her time there. Special thanks to neighbour Helen Furniak for her friendship and support. As Emily had a lifelong love of animals, donations may be made in her name to any organization that provides assistance to animals.
