Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALLAN ARNOTT BROOKS It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Allan on April 7, 2006 at St. Boniface Hospital. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, daughter Rhonda (Jason); his son Robert of Brandon; grandchildren, Alexander and Georgia of Ottawa; brothers, Ron (Anna) of Winnipeg, and Bruce (Karen) of Brandon; brother-in-law Bob and their families; as well as aunts Elizabeth and Phyllis; Uncle James and numerous cousins. Allan was predeceased by parents John and Winnifred, and sister Marie. Allan was born July 27, 1947 in Brandon and grew up on the Brooks family farm. An avid member of 4 H Swine and Beef clubs, agriculture was always an important part of his life. After graduation from Elton Collegiate, he went on to graduate from University of Manitoba in agriculture paving the way for a long career with Farm Credit Corporation in many places. Retiring in 1997, Allan moved closer to home to Winnipeg for his remaining years. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 13, 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of VOYAGE FUNERAL HOME, 220 Hespeler Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
