Richard Hunter); brother Doc (Justice R.D. Guy); sister-in-law Beryl Guy; sister-in-law Olive Hunter; brother-in-law Norval Hunter; brother-in-law Heward Stikeman). She is survived by her sister Virginia Stikeman; brother William (Bill) Guy; sister-in-law Patricia Guy; sister-in-law Gwen Hunter; brother-in-law Lyle Hunter; daughters, Heather Hunter, Patricia Muir, and Gail Enns (Kurt); grandchildren, Guy Ramsay, Todd Ramsay, James Muir, Ashley Enns and Brad Enns; also two great-grandchildren, Colton Ramsay and Ashton Ramsay. She will be greatly missed by countless friends and all whose lives she touched. Tonsy's early school years and later education included Tuxedo School, Riverbend School (Balmoral Hall) and the University of Manitoba where she graduated with a Bachelor of Home Economics in 1941. Tonsy brought a special ray of sunshine into our lives with her incredibly warm and gracious spirit. Her beauty and quiet strength have been a source of inspiration for her daughters. She enjoyed a full and healthy life with family and in the company of friends including bridge groups, investment group, Lunch Bunch, and association with the Winnipeg Winter Club, St. Charles Country Club and Manitoba Club. She treasured summers at Lake Malachi and maintained a sense of humour coupled with a youthful outlook on life. Tonsy's musical gift was evident on family occasions with her delightful soprano voice and piano accompaniment. She remained active socially and physically, radiating a genuine zest for living. Tonsy maintained an unwavering commitment to Knox Church where her grandfather Frederic B. DuVal was a minister from 1888 to 1916. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 13 at 1:00 p.m. at Knox United Church, Edmonton Street and Qu'Appelle, Rev. David Murata officiating.
