ANNE GENEVIEVE (JENNY) WERSTIUK (nee SANTAVY) Jenny Werstiuk, aged 77, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 9, 2006 at Park Manor. She was predeceased by her parents Metodej and Marie; brother Cyril (Irene); sisters Mary (Henry) Oretsky, Mae Bilik. Jenny is survived by her husband of 57 years, John Werstiuk and sisters Rose (George) Hewitt, Pauline Loiselle. Jenny leaves to cherish her memory six children, Judi Bachmann, Don (Karen), Dave (Karen), Carol (Gord) Woodhall, Marlene (Jake) Dewyn, Sandra (Brian) White; was Babba to 16 grandchildren: Rachel (Maxime), Ingrid (Steve), Krigh; Sara, Julie, Kim; Crystal (Serge), Ken; Gordon, Michael, Jaclynn; Yvette (Dustin), Michelle, Jennifer, Christopher; Alexandra; and 3 great-granddaughters Alyssa, Estelle, Vanessa and many extended family. Special thanks to their friends and neighbours and those who cared for Jenny. Her presence will be forever remembered in our lives. Sincere and true, in heart and mind - beautiful memories she left behind. Prayers will be held at 8:00 p.m. with viewing one hour prior to on Wednesday, April 12 at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden with interment to follow. Fr. Owen Steeves officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend the reception at a family member's home following the interment. Donations in Jenny's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
