Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH (JOZSEF) OROSZ It is with aching hearts that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend Joe Orosz on April 10, 2006 at the Riverview Health Centre. His wife Ilona predeceased Joe in June 1991. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters. Ilona (Jack Dalton) and Elizabeth (Terry Tanchuk); grandchildren, Frank, Victoria and Susan.; great-grandchildren, Thomas, Chelsey, Samantha, Brittany, Brandon, Sarah, Sheena and Timothy. Joe was born August 28, 1925 in Hungary. In 1956 our father and mother made a life changing decision to leave their beloved country to start a new life in unknown territory. After some months in Italy our family boarded a ship in France and we arrived in Quebec June 1957 and traveled by train to Winnipeg. Joe was a member to of the Hungarian Cultural Society of Winnipeg and the Hungarian United Church. He held numerous jobs during his life but family, friends and neighbours best remember him as a handyman. A service of remembrance will be held on Tuesday, April 18 at 1:00 p.m. the Hungarian United Church, 732 Ellice Ave. with Rev. Geza Szemok officiating. Interment of Joe's ashes will take place later with immediate family All flowers kindly declined. Donations in Joe's memory can be made to the Hungarian United Church.
