Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDARLENE (DEE) ZENITH (nee POSNER) Born in Montreal and raised in Winnipeg, died peacefully, at the age of 62, in her Los Angeles home March 23, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. Dee attended Peretz School, Luxton and St. John's Tech. She graduated Winnipeg General Hospital's School of Nursing in 1963, working there for a few years before moving to Los Angeles in the mid 1960's. Beloved wife of Howard C. Howard, devoted daughter of Leah and the late Ben Posner of Winnipeg, loving sister to Nancy (John) Rea of Beverly Hills, Mark (Tova) Posner of Israel, Karen (Tom) Traves of Halifax and cherished aunt to her nine nieces and nephews. A practicing RN for more than 40 years in Los Angeles as well as a skilled fitness trainer and co-owner, with her husband, of a successful health club, Dee was an accomplished photographer, creative designer and an enthusiastic and supportive friend to all who knew and loved her. A beautiful free spirit, she will be greatly missed.
