KATHERINE (KAY) ATAMANCHUK Katherine (Kay) Atamanchuk of Brandon, beloved mother of Helen Mospanchuk, Bernice (Murray) McQuiston, Bernie (Joan) Atamanchuk and Ron (Aleta) Adams, passed away peacefully at her residence, Fairview Personal Care Home on Saturday, April 8, 2006, in her 100th year. Kay will also be missed by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Prayers were held for Kay at the Brockie Donovan Chapel, on Tuesday, April 11. Divine Funeral Liturgy was held at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 12 with Rev. Fr. Michael Tkachuk as Celebrant, assisted by Cantor Tony Yuriy. Interment followed in the Brandon Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations, in memory of Kay, may be made to a charity of choice.
