She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, John and their nine children, Betty Nykyforak (Mervin), Judy Hawrychuk (Russell), Jane Yakimishyn (Paul), Mildred Kopec (George), Lawrence, Charles (Janet), Patricia (Allan Striowski), Rosemarie Hamell (Roland) and Joseph (Allison). Grandmother of Noreen (John), Wayne (Laura), Craig; Lori, Cheryl (John); Brian (Tanya), Shawn (Val); George Jr, Patricia (Troy), Angela; Jonathan, Thomas; Christin (Bill), Darren; Jodi (Billie-Lynn), and Dilan. Great-grandmother of Jaden, Rayne, Reagan, Renae, Rylee, Payton, Jaron, Shawn Jr, Casey Jean and Jakob. Brother Steve Rodzoniak, nephew Frank Normand Jr and extended family. She was predeceased by her father Nicholas Rodzoniak (1960), Uncle Mike Knish (1994), sister Pauline Westlake (1996) and mother Ksenia Rodzoniak (2002). Anne was born December 22, 1921 in Weirzhowiecz, Poland. She grew up in Narol and St. Andrews, MB. On December 25, 1943, she was united in marriage with John Payjack. Together they raised their children in Birds Hill, Elmwood, and East St. Paul. Anne cherished her role as a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She welcomed everyone to her home with open arms and good food. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, travelling, sewing, knitting, crocheting, gardening and reading until she lost her eye sight. Anne enjoyed attending activities at East St. Paul Senior Centre with the many friendships attained. Later due to health reasons she was unable to attend Seniors regularly. The many friends from Seniors thought of her frequently with gifts of baking and canning for which she was very grateful. Prayers will be held on Monday, April 17 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 18 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Chapel with Rev. Peter W. Chorney officiating. Interment to follow in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne's memory to Canadian Diabetes Society, CNIB (Manitoba Branch) or charity of one's choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
