GENE CASMIR WASOWICZ Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of Gene on Thursday, April 13, 2006 at Grace Hospital, Winnipeg at the age of 81 years. Remaining to forever cherish Gene's memory are his wife Marilyn of 37 years of marriage and many relatives. He was predeceased by his mother and father, and brother (Stanley). Gene had many years of Military Service, worked in the Automotive Industry, returned as a Commissionaire at C.F.B. 17 Wing. He played in many bands throughout the years. On Monday, April 17 at 7:00 p.m., Gene's funeral service will be held in the Salvation Army Heritage Park Temple, 825 School Rd., with Rev. S. Hoffman officiating. I would like to express my special thanks to the doctors and staff at Grace Hospital; Dr. G Schroeder and staff at CancerCare and to everyone who visited.
