LEDA R. (PAULINE) MILLIS Peacefully on Thursday, April 13, 2006, at the Middlechurch Care Home, Leda passed away at the age of 78 years. She was predeceased by her husband Donald, parents Peter and Mary, brother Onufrey (Frank), sister-in-law Joyce Minsky and 5H in infancy. Leda will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Betty of Winnipeg; son Raymond (Doris) of Stonewall; two grandchildren Shannon (John) of St. Andrews and Eric (Crystal) of Winnipeg; two great-grandchildren Spencer and Lauryn; one sister and five brothers; numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Leda cherished her family and loved to be surrounded by them. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren gave her a lifetime of joy and laughter. She loved her many visits with her loving and supportive family. Leda worked her entire life, always caring for others and their homes. She worked in the homecare field for many years and attained her homecare attendant certificate in 1989. She continued to care for others until her retirement in 2002. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. The family would like to thank the caring staff of Middlechurch Care Home and Dr. Olweny from CancerCare at St. Boniface Hospital.
