MARGUERITE LOUISE SEVICK Peacefully, at Calvary Place Personal Care Home, Marguerite passed away on Friday, April 14, 2006 at the age of 94 years. Remaining to forever cherish in her memory are her nephew and niece, Leonard and Linda and their family, Todd, Gina, Kim and Tim. She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Petrina; brothers, Leonard (Sadie) and Paul (Jean) and sister Lena. On October 13, 1911 Marguerite was born in Yorkton, SK and moved to Winnipeg with her family in 1923 and resided at 499 Rosedale Ave. She graduated from normal school and worked for Miller McDonald until retirement. At that time they gave her a trip to Norway where she kept in touch with her Norwegian family. Marguerite enjoyed activities which expanded her horizons. The ballet, opera, travelogues and the Scandinavian clubs as well as talking to people everywhere. On Thursday, April 20 at 1:30 p.m. Marguerite's funeral service will be held in The Churchill Park United Church, 525 Beresford Avenue with Rev. Pat Wotton officiating. Special thanks to the staff at both Calvary Place and Oakview Place who took such wonderful care of our Aunt for the past 16 months and to her friends who sent cards, phone calls and paid visits during this time.
