Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUCILLE SHIVBALAK 1926 - 2006 It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Lucille Shivbalak on the morning of Monday April 10, 2006 at St. Barnabas Hospital New York at the age of 79 years. Her memory will be forever cherished by her children Milliecent, Ramesh (Nina), Paul (Sis), Mohan (Pearlie), Leila (Harold), Lynette (Telo), Sandra (Saki), Vemo (Romey), Kenneth (Mammy), Baby (Lenny), Rohan (Maria) and Seeta (Rai); also by 59 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, as well as extended family and friends. Lucille was predeceased by her loving husband Rajpaul in 1983, and her brother Amin. Lucille was born in Guyana, she immigrated to Canada in 1982 where she enjoyed a very fulfilling life. Lucille always took great pleasure in listening to music, watching television, travelling, and enjoying the company of her family and friends. Viewing will take place on Tuesday, April 18 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, April 19 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel. Wake will be followed each night after both viewings at 35 Ambergate Dr. Funeral service to be held on Thursday, April 20 at noon with Pandits Ganesh P Misra from Toronto, ON and Arjune Misri from Manitoba Hindu Dharmik Sabha. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame. A sincere thank-you is extended to Dr. Dias from St. Barnabas Hospital, and to Dr. Sear and all the staff from 7 South, along with all the staff from DOJ Rehabilitation Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lucille's memory to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8. It broke our hearts to lose you; however, you did not go alone. Part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
