BERYL SIRKIS Peacefully on Friday, April 14, 2006 at Beacon Hill Lodge, Beryl passed away at the age of 86 years. She was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1970; also her parents, James and Elizabeth Davies and her sister Bertha and brother-in-law Alf. Beryl is survived by her son Ken and wife Margaret; grandchildren, Glen, Leanne (Ryan); nephew Ron and wife Amy and their families. She will also be missed by her very good friends, Bob and Ann Mills; Mae Musty and Bill Sutherland. Beryl was born and raised in West Kildonan. After her marriage to Mike in 1942 they eventually settled in East Kildonan where Beryl remained until she moved into Beacon Hill Lodge in February 2006. In her younger years, Beryl worked in Eaton's Grill Room Products, before moving onto Federated Insurance, where she stayed until her retirement in 1987. According to Beryl's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca The family wishes to extend their thanks to the staff at Beacon Hill Lodge for their care and compassion to Beryl for the past two months.
