FLORENCE ELIZABETH SAVAGE (nee GRANT) Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother died peacefully on Sunday, April 16, 2006 at St. Boniface Hospital. Born, September 12, 1915 at Springfield, MB, her early years were spent in rural Manitoba. She married John William Savage on September 2, 1938 and enjoyed 39 years of marriage. After the passing of John, Florence moved to Donwood Manor where she resided for 12 years. She was active in volunteer work and caring for her Donwood family. Florence is survived by three sons, Hugh (Ethel) of Saskatoon, Allan (Ruth) of Beausejour and Rodney (Lynne) of Fort Frances; three daughters, Jennie of Winnipeg, Violet of Saskatoon and Phyllis (Charles) of Calgary; 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 20 at 9:30 a.m. at Donwood Manor Auditorium, 165 Donwood Dr., with interment to follow at Transcona Cemetery.
