DORA MCLEAN (nee CULLUM) Dora McLean passed away on Monday, April 17, 2006 at the Victoria General Hospital. Dora was predeceased by her husband S. Lorne McLean; parents, John and Margaret Cullum; brother Harold and sister Gertrude; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Roxy and Layton Holmes, Steve Stevenson and Thelma and Ben Cooke. Dora is survived by her sister-in-law Amy Stevenson; loving nieces and nephews, Wilma (John) Scott, Karen (Dwayne) Holmes, Tom (Sue) Stevenson, Carole (Glenn) Friesen, Rob Cooke and Wayne Cullum; cousins, Laura, Margaret and Louise Cullum; as well as her special friend Anne Swardfager. Dora lived a long simple life and gave freely of her time and was very generous with her gifts and donations. Dora faithfully attended First Presbyterian Church where she and Lorne made many lasting friendships. Although Dora had no children herself, she was a mother to many. She always remembered everyone's birthday and anniversary; you could always count on a card from Dora. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 22 at 2:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 61 Picardy Pl. with Rev. Jack Duckworth officiating. Viewing will take place one half hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the luncheon being held at the church hall. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association on Dora's behalf. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME 885-9715
