JOHN MICHAEL YORKIW It is with deep sadness the family announces the passing of John Yorkiw on April 17, 2006 at the age of 51 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Millie and Mike and a close friend Bob Belasco. John will be sadly missed by his aunt Eugenia (Wally) Fedak; and cousins, Peter and Mike Fedak, all of White Rock, BC and many close friends in Winnipeg. John was a self-employed landscaper in Winnipeg and had a real zest for life. He had a great sense of humour and was always there when you needed him - a solid stand up kind of guy. He will be missed. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Rev. Msgr. Maurice Comeault, P.H.,V.F. officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044

  • It's been 13 years, and I still think of you often. I remember all the times we went to get poutine at the place off the highway while blasting Black Betty and you would treat me to McDonald's even though my mom got mad. Also I remember all the times we would have bonfire's in the countryside that would tower over me, so much fun. I hope you try visit me again soon.
