Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMURIEL ANNE CAMPBELL (nee MILLIDGE) On April 17, 2006, Muriel Campbell passed away peacefully at Lions Manor at the age of 85. Born in Kyle, SK on September 30, 1920, Muriel spent most of her life in Winnipeg. Muriel graduated from Success Business School in 1938 and worked as a stenographer for the Manitoba Provincial Government and also for Trans Canada Airlines. Muriel joined the Women's Canadian Naval Services to assist in the war efforts. Muriel was predeceased by her parents, Edith Mary (Platford) and Edwin Reginald Millidge, her brother Edwin and sisters, Vera and Mary Millidge. Muriel is survived by her three daughters, Bonnie (Ted) Harvey of Winnipeg, Susan (Brian) Mann of Calgary, Pat Campbell (Terry Barber) of Edmonton; four grandchildren, Karen (Ed) Connors, Donna (Kim) Phillips, Colin (Joni) Mann, Kelly Mann and one great-grandchild, Evan Mann. A private family graveside service will be held at St. John's Cathedral Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff at Lions Manor Personal Care Centre for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Mom's memory to The Bridge Church, 325 - 3336 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, R3K 2H9 or to the charity of one's choice.
