MARGIT FRICK Peacefully, with her family by her side, Margit Frick passed away at Concordia Hospital on Monday, April 17, 2006. Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Ron (Lisa), Ralph (Charlene) and her four grandchildren, Gina, Daniel, Sabrina and Ryan. Margit was predeceased by her loving husband, Percy in 1992; son Garnet in 1982; and sister Doris in 1998. Margit was born in Talin, Estonia, the youngest daughter of August and Anna Simastel. Margit and her family fled Estonia to Germany where she met Percy Frick. They married and immigrated to Canada in 1951. She devoted herself to building a family life for her husband and three sons in their East Kildonan home. Margit was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church. She was a private person who enjoyed growing flowers, winter trips to Hawaii and most of all, her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her honesty, generosity, strong will and determination! In accordance with her wishes, a private service has taken place with Pastor Bruce Gelhorn officiating. Interment followed in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or Grace Lutheran Church Odyssey Fund. KORBAN FUNERAL CHAPEL 956-2193
