STEPHEN JOSEPH OSMAN It is with deep sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Stephen Joseph Osman on Friday, April 21, 2006 at the age of 54. He was predeceased by his father Mohammed (1951), brothers Hussain, Sony, Sam, Dean and sister Barbara (Tracey) (1998). He is survived by his mother Winnifred, loving wife Rocchina and children Samantha, Jason, Devin and Kelly with brothers Nigel (Emily, Christine, Stephanie, Justin), Horace (Judy, Anthony, Andrea) and Zaman, sisters Desiree (Naz, Brian, Alison, and Wendy), Joan (Ray, Kenryck, Rosetta, Kevin), Ingrid (Keiron, Kendra-Ann), Badoura, Isha and Amena, Helen, and numerous great nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends. He was also a foster father to four children in Ethiopia, a cause that was dear to his heart. Steve was born in Georgetown, Guyana on December 26, 1951 and immigrated to Canada in 1972. His entire career focused on his wonderful ability to interact with people allowing him to have worked as a successful salesman. He was also a member of the All-Fours Association of Manitoba, a hobby that he was both proud and passionate about. Viewing and prayers will be held on Wednesday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 27 at 2:00 p.m. at the same location Honoury pallbearers will be Nigel and Justin Wight, Horace, Jason and Anthony Osman, Ray, Kenryck and Kevin Kumar, Ray Sharma, Keiron Seenandan and Brian Edun. In lieu of flowers and to honour his loving and generous nature, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. Remember me with tears of joy and laughter as I will remember you. If you remember me with tears of sorrow you did not know me.
