Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPHYLLIS CLARA BRADEN (nee Palmer) Phyllis passed away peacefully at Concordia Hospital with her family at her bedside on Saturday, April 22, 2006. Beloved wife and best friend of William John Braden, mother of daughters, Cheryl Conger and Bonnie Stobert and husband Ken. Predeceased by her son Wayne Ronald Conger. She will be dearly missed by her step-daughters, Donnie Staples (Ron) and Sandra Braden (Uni) and her many and much loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In her immediate family, Phyllis is survived by her brother Leslie Palmer and his wife Emily, her sister Shirley Smith and husband Paul, and sister-in-law Mary (wife of the late Ronald Palmer). Phyllis was a valued employee of the T. Eaton Company and the City of Winnipeg for many years. Following her retirement she travelled extensively down south with her husband Bill. During that time they made many good friends and created many wonderful memories. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 26 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with reception to follow.
