MARY ANN DEMIDIUK Peacefully on Sunday evening, April 23, 2006, Mary Ann passed away with her family at her side. Mary Ann is survived by her sons Mike (Cheryl), Dan (Bev), Tim (Sherry); daughter Rose (Dave); grandchildren Michael, James, Lacy, Frank, Chrissy, Brandi, Melissa, Joey, Adam, Jordan, Andrew and Timothy. Mary Ann was predeceased by her husband, Mike; parents Adam and Rose; brothers John and Mike; sister Jenny; granddaughter Jennifer. Mary Ann was born in Winnipeg, June 11, 1937. She met the love of her life, Michael after he was discharged and moved to Winnipeg. They were married September 1, 1951. Mary Ann worked in retail sales after the children were attending school. Her favourite pastimes in her younger years included dancing, bowling, movies and reading all the best sellers. Mom enjoyed embroidery and needlepoint. One of her lasting memories was of her glorious vacations in Miami and Mazatlan, Mexico. Many thanks to the staff of Unit 4, 3rd floor at Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, April 26 at 9:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 27 at 9:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service beginning at 10:00 a.m. also at the Chapel. Interment to follow in Brookside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary Ann's memory to a charity of one's choice. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
