Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEVE MADDER (nee EVA DEBNAM) Peacefully on Friday, April 21, 2006, Eve passed away at Riverview Health Centre, ending her battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Ethel and Clifford Debnam; her brother Kevin and daughter Wanda. She will be deeply missed by her husband Bill; daughter Dale (Ted) Eisener; son-in-law John Snobl; nephews Lyn and Jim Madder and Kevin Debnam; grandchildren Lisa Beck, Kathleen Ledingham, Brian Snobl, Mark Snobl, Loreen Johnson, Paul Snobl and their spouses; sister-in-law Jean Madder and twelve great-grandchildren. Eve grew up in Weston where she attended Cecil Rhodes School and went to Sparling United Church where she was encouraged to sing. She was in choirs throughout her life, including the choir at Westworth United Church and at the time of her passing was a member of the Senior Citizens' Choir of Winnipeg and the Charleswood Seniors' Curling Club Choir. There was a time when she sang solos very often at church and at weddings and funerals. She was a people and family person and delighted in being with her friends and members of the family, particularly the small children. She was blessed with aptitude for physical activities and enjoyed dancing, golfing, curling, bowling, tennis and swimming and shuffleboard when spending winters in Texas. Eve enjoyed being busy with many crafts. In the seventies she started the Schoolmasters' Wives Craft Club, it is still active. In her later years she used her skill in crocheting and knitting to provide many gifts for family and friends. For many years she enjoyed summers at West Hawk Lake and later at Lakeshore Heights on Lake Winnipeg. At that time many good friends were made at Pine Falls. Good fortune led to living in Charleswood and returning to Westworth Church. The family will be forever thankful for the wonderful care provided by Riverview Health Centre staff. A memorial service will be held at Westworth United Church, 1750 Grosvenor Avenue at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 30. Friends who wish to make a memorial donation are asked to consider the Choir Gown Fund at Westworth United church or a charity of one's choice. CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME AND RECEPTION CENTRE 885-9715
