She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1984; sons, Elwood and Leonard; sisters, Olive, Eva and Mary; brothers, John, Jack, Edward, Herbert, Gustav and two brothers in infancy. Elizabeth was born in Strembeni, near Odessa, Russia and immigrated to Canada with her family at the age of eleven years. When Betty and Bill moved to Manitoba, their home was always a place that was warm and welcoming to family and friends. The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful and caring staff at the Fort Garry Care Centre during the past five years, as well as the staff at Meadowood Manor, where she most recently resided.
