Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCORINNE FRANCES DEMPSTER (nee ADAIR) Peacefully, with her family by her side, on April 24, 2006, Corinne passed away, at the age of 80 years. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Jeff (Loretta), Brad (Diane), Paul (Michelle), Connie (Gord) and Barb (Jeff); grandchildren, Tara (Derek), Roberta, Sarah, David, Emily, Kim, Kerri, Calvin, Laura and Thomas; great-grandchildren, Micheala, Madison, Noah and Quinn; and sisters, Helen, Doris and Aileen. Predeceased by her parents, Herbert and Margaret Adair; and her brothers, Albert, Birtle, Alvin, Lou, Gordon and Ernie. Mom was born November 5, 1925 and grew up on the family farm near Antler, SK. It wasn't long though, before she moved to Brandon where she enjoyed living in the big city, and became an accomplished seamstress while working at the Singer Sewing Outlet. She enjoyed playing baseball and while living in Brandon met our dad at a dance at the Rivers Air Force Base. Marriage, children and several moves around Manitoba and Kenora, ON followed, before she landed in Elmwood. Mom happily resided in this leafy enclave for over forty years, before moving into her apartment in 2005. She worked at several employers before finding a happy home in the silk screening department of Plastic Film and made many valued and treasured friends during her years there. Words cannot express how truly proud her children were of Corinne. Her dedication to her family is a testament to the kind of woman she was. We will always remember her sense of humor, her strength and her courage. When it comes to MOMS she's the best! We would also like to thank the staff at Concordia for their kindness. A celebration of Corinne's life will be held on Friday, April 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Home, with a reception to follow. Donations in Corinne's memory may be made to the ALS Society of Manitoba, 2109 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3J 0L3 KLASSEN FUNERAL HOME 1897 Henderson - North of McIvor - 338-0331
