Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLGA HUDRICK (nee KNIZAT) Peacefully, on April 25, 2006 at the Ste. Anne Hospital, Olga Hudrick aged 83 years, widow of the late Joseph Hudrick passed away. Olga will be lovingly remembered by sons, Tony, Rudy (Denise), Joseph Jr., Edward (Irene), James (Diane), John (Lynn), daughter Ann (Doug Zelmer) and son-in-law Bernie Vajdl; sister Emily Borcik; brothers, Emil (Anne) Knizat of Ridgetown, ON and Louis (Mary) Knizat; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Olga was predeceased by her mother Anna in 1990, father Rudolph in 1950, step-father John in 1993, husband Joseph Hudrick in 1991, son Donald in 1998, grandson Rob Pickering in 2004, daughter Mary in 2005 and daughter Rosemary in infancy. Olga was born in Malé Ripnany, Czechoslovakia on January 7, 1923. At the age of 15, Olga and her family immigrated to Canada. They settled in Rosewood, MB where they farmed. Olga married Joseph Hudrick in 1942. Together they raised their family and farmed in Lorette, MB. Olga loved tending to her garden and cooking wonderful meals enjoyed by all. Olga enjoyed playing cards and going out to Bingo. Olga had a wonderful sense of humour and enjoyed having friends and family drop by for coffee. The family would like to thank the homecare providers, doctors and nurses at the Ste Anne Hospital and especially neighbor and friend, Louise Durand, for all of their care and compassion. Pallbearers will be Olga's grandsons, Rudy Jr., John Jr., Daniel, Michael, Jamie, Jason and Christopher Hudrick. Prayers will be held at Green Acres Funeral Home at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 27. Mass of Resurrection led by Father Armand LeGal will be held at Notre Dame de Lorette Church at 11:00 a.m., Friday April 28. Lunch to follow at the Lorette Parish Hall.
